SPAGHETTI CARBONARA
Ingredients:
Spaghetti
150ml Double Cream
1/2 tsp Chopped Garlic
6 Bacon Rashers or Lardons
2 Eggs
50g Cheddar Cheese
2 Handfuls of Frozen Peas
Method:
- Fry of the bacon/lardons in a pan until crispy
- In another pot bring your pasta to the boil
- In a bowl mix together the cream, eggs abs grated cheese
- Add the peas and chopped garlic to the pan with the bacon and cook on the lowest heat for 5 mins
- Add the drained pasta to the bacon and peas and remove from the heat
- Add the cream mixture to the pasta and toss through
- As the cream and egg mixture gently heats through It will start to thicken
- Put back on the lowest heat and cook for 3-5 mins until thickened to a sauce (be careful not to scramble the egg mixture)
