CARAMEL APPLE FRENCH
TOAST BAKE
Dairy Free
Ingredients:
1 Small Apple
Splash of Milk (or alternative)
2 Pieces of Bread (remove the crusts)
2 Tablespoons of Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup 1 Tablespoon Dairy Free Spread (or butter)
Dash of Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
Method:
- Cut the crusts of the bread (they can be frozen to make breadcrumbs)
- Cut your bread into chunks
- In a bowl mix together the egg, splash of milk or alternative and the vanilla
- Put the bread in the egg mixture to soak
- In a pot add the butter and the apple and cook on medium until softened
- When the apple is soft add the syrup and cook until golden
- Place the soaked bread into mini loaf tins and bake for 15 mins
- Remove from the oven, top with the apple mixture and serve
Freezable for 3 months
